About the Founder
Mr. Abdullah Saleh Alhodaif, the founder of Sard Cultural Center, is a pioneer in cultural projects. He initiated his first project, ‘Cultural Craftsmen’, in 2016.
The idea was born out of a need for young hobbyists to have a space that brings together their common interests. It all began with a small shop on Yemama Street in Jeddah.
In 2018, the second branch was opened in the Basateen neighborhood of Jeddah. Then, in 2019, he established ten historical houses in ‘Old Jeddah’, transforming them into cultural centers. Each house boasts its unique identity and enchanting touch. Among them are ‘The Zurayeb House’, ‘Al-Hadif Museum’, ‘Bohemian House’, ‘Hijaz House’, and ‘Al-Hadif House’. These houses converge around culture and art.
In 2020, his initiatives expanded to include the ‘Lathribou’ project in the heart of Al-Madina.
In 2021, he established a cultural center in northern Jeddah. In 2022, he launched the ‘Yamama Cultural Platform’ in Riyadh in collaboration with the King Abdulaziz Public Library, solidifying his position as one of the influential figures in art and music in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
