Job Description

ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER
Help Us Build Something Wildly Special

Are you a little bit of a lunatic in the best way? Do you thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments and love making people feel genuinely seen? Do you get fired up about leading teams, driving performance, and making an impact from the ground up? If you're nodding wildly, we might just be your people.

We're on the hunt for an Assistant General Manager who's ready to roll up their sleeves, lead with heart, and bring major vibes. This person is ambitious, entrepreneurial, endlessly motivated-and not afraid to hold a team accountable while keeping things light, fun, and authentic. Bonus points if you're the type who high-fives the dishwasher, greets every guest like an old friend, and can turn a not-so-great situation into a loyal customer for life.

About Us
We're not just a pizzeria. We are The PIZZERIA -a bold, fast-growing hospitality brand on a mission to disrupt the tired pizza space and bring something real, vibrant, and wildly human to the table.

Hospitality, to us, is more than great food (though we've got that covered). It's about creating meaningful experiences-for our team and our guests-built on energy, empathy, community, and a sprinkle of weirdness. Think less stuffy corporate chain, more "your favorite local spot that just gets it."

Our Vibe
Each of our locations features a clean, modern coastal design with great music and a lively atmosphere. Whether it's post-soccer practice family dinners, date night at the bar, or live music with local artists, we've got something for everyone. (And yes, there's usually a line of Uber drivers out front when it's all said and done.)

What We're Looking For
You're a seasoned food & beverage leader who doesn't just want a job-you want to build something. You're creative, progressive, results-driven, and community-focused, with a passion for hospitality and a deep respect for team culture. You work hard, stay curious, and believe accountability and kindness can live in the same room.

You've got:

  • Strong leadership skills and a love for people development

  • An entrepreneurial mindset-you think like an owner

  • A track record of delivering top-tier guest experiences

  • Hustle, heart, and humor

Your Role
You'll support the General Manager in running day-to-day operations, leading with energy, and creating a culture that's high-performing and high-vibe. You'll be the kind of leader people want to follow and the kind of teammate others are proud to work alongside.

Operations

  • Ensure daily operations run smoothly, efficiently, and with energy

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and fun environment for both guests and staff

  • Bring consistency and a sense of urgency to every shift

Leadership & Team Development

  • Motivate, mentor, and develop your team (with some laughs along the way)

  • Create a workplace where people feel valued, challenged, and inspired

  • Help build systems and culture that scale as we grow

Guest Experience

  • Deliver the best damn service humanly possible

  • Make magic happen for our guests-turning problems into loyalty and ordinary into unforgettable

  • Lead by example, always

Financial Management

  • Support budgeting, scheduling, and labor optimization

  • Monitor sales, drive revenue, and help manage costs

  • Partner with our in-house buyer (aka Frank, who rocks a gold watch and knows his stuff) to ensure top-notch ingredients and inventory flow

Quality & Brand Integrity

  • Uphold our brand standards (which we humbly think are ridiculously high)

  • Implement quality control procedures that wow our guests

  • Sweat the details-we know they matter

Extreme Accountability
We own our mistakes-and learn from them.
You'll help foster a culture of accountability where feedback is a gift and every challenge is a chance to get better. We don't just fix problems-we leave people feeling even more seen and supported than when they walked in.
