The Town is seeking an accomplished, proactive, results-oriented leader who not only has a strong foundation of skills and experience, but also manages for accountability, fosters an environment of innovation and open communication, and deploys current technologies to increase efficiency. Candidates should be especially skilled at communicating with internal and external stakeholders. In addition, the ideal candidate is successful at motivating people to increase their capacities by encouraging learning and development, and managing with consistency and respect. They will understand the importance of public trust and model the highest standards of honesty, integrity and ethical behavior. The Fleet Business Manager plans, coordinates, and administers the strategic and daily operational activities of the Fleet Division, including the annual budget, goals, and action plans. This position develops and regulates the policies and procedures related to the fleet operations. The position reports to an Assistant Public Works Director .
