We blend high-tech with high touch in ways that are advancing superior health care throughout the communities we serve. **Position Details:** **Title:** Manager Medical Staff Services **Facility:** St. Anthony's Hospital **Location:** St. Petersburg, FL **Hours:** 8:00am - 4:30pm **Responsibilities and Required Skills:** + Administers the medical staff credentialing and reappointment process and assists the medical staff in supporting the organization's mission, vision, and goals. + Directs, plans, organizes, and manages the daily activities of the medial staff office and is responsible for preparation, organization, and follow-up involved in maintaining hospital accreditation with The Joint Commission as it relates to Medical Staff Services. + Responsible for establishing and maintaining continuity in the planning, development, and implementation of standards applicable to the medical staff that relate to credentialing, privileging, bylaws, and rules and regulations. + Also functions as a physician relations representative for the hospital, including physician orientation, Doctor's Day planning, and physician communication. + May set up and train physicians on the Physician Portal. + Publishes and maintains the ER call schedules, roster, and physician call payments. + Collects medical staff fees. + Coordinates and provides support for medical staff committee meetings and maintains the minutes. + Manages the FPPE and OPPE process. + May manage local CME committee and programs. + Acts as a liaison with departments and physicians in the recruitment of new physicians to improve service to our patients. **BayCare offers a competitive total reward package including:** + Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) + Paid Time Off + Tuition Assistance + 401K Match and additional yearly contribution + Annual performance appraisals and team award bonus + Family resources and wellness opportunities + Community perks and discounts **Required Education and Experience:** + High School degree/graduate - + 4 years Medical Staff OR + 2 years Medical Staff and 2 years Credentialing/CVO AND 1 year's management experience + Bachelor's degree (related) + 3 years Medical Staff OR + 2 years Medical Staff and 1 year Credentialing/CVO AND 1 year's management experience. **Certification:** + Required - Active CPMSM certification (Certified Professional Medical Staff Management) with the National Association Medical Staff Services within 24 months of hire **Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled** **Position** Manager Medical Staff Services **Location** St Petersburg | Leadership | Full Time **Req ID** null
