POSITION: MARKETING COORDINATOR
DEPARTMENT: PLAYERS CLUB
REPORTS TO: MARKETING DIRECTOR

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Marketing Director, The Marketing Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact and knowledgeable resource for the Players Club and Promotions. The Marketing Coordinator will fill in as needed in the Player’s Club, promote Player’s Club, and provide information about upcoming events and promotions. This person will assist with the execution of all promotions and special events, initiate and practice exceptional guest service in all situations to ensure that all new and returning guests have a memorable experience, oversee and administer collateral distribution on the casino floor and keep inventory of all Marketing materials. The Marketing Coordinator will troubleshoot guest concerns related to marketing technologies (i.e. website, player tracking, offers, kiosk redemptions, etc.) and assist with advertising needs for Marketing.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
  • Combination of education and Experience in guest service/marketing equal to 2+ years
  • Gaming experience preferred
  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screening, background investigation, and obtain and maintain a gaming license
  • Must be able to communicate in the primary language of the workplace (English)
  • Must have strong computer Skills
  • Basic Math skills required; Database skills preferred
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft products including word, excel, and outlook
  • Ability to learn and understand varying technologies quickly and efficiently
  • Must have a positive outlook and like to work in a team environment
  • Must be comfortable with public speaking on a microphone on the gaming floor
  • Must be comfortable approaching people, speaking with strangers and able to and conflict and problem solve calmly and effectively
  • Superior service-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the highest level of guest service including greeting customers, establishing relationships with guests
  • Educate and instruct guests as needed on different promotions and events that are going on
  • Reach out to guests on the gaming floor or via phone call to invite to Invited Player Promotions and Events
  • Fill in as needed at the Player’s Club enrolling players, issuing promotions and offers, reprinting Players Club Cards, etc.
  • Constantly monitor reporting to look at effective reinvestment, effective and non-effective promotions, etc.
  • Supervise and/or run execution of all promotions and events
  • Take inventory of Marketing materials, giveaway items, etc. and keep track of quantity to reorder or to confirm accuracy of giveaway
  • File and keep all paperwork related to Marketing including Advertising and Promotions
  • Work on design of promotions including proofing artwork, ordering artwork, creating event sheets, working on rules, ordering signage/advertising, writing radio scripts, etc.
  • Use diplomacy, patience, and control when dealing with a dissatisfied customer and refer any unresolved disputes to upper management at the earliest opportunity
  • Assist management in all items related to Marketing
  • Work well in a team format
  • Work any shift required including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Other duties as assigned

The position requires the ability to process information using computer methods and technology, at times for more than 50% of the work time. Must be able to move chairs, tables, and props used for events as necessary.
